Who is it for?
This course is suitable for anyone responsible for directing or managing your company’s approach to sustainable business. Attendees could include MD’s, communication directors, heads of sustainability and heads of CR. It reflects the new world of sustainable business and CR following the recession.

What are the aims?
This is an introduction to the principles and practices of long term commercial success.

By the end of the course, participants will:

  • have an insight into how the recession has influenced the creation of new sustainable business models
  • understand how companies are translating this new thinking into transformational projects to achieve long term success
  • have an insight into the processes required to help apply this new thinking in their organizations

What is the specific content?
The course content includes an understanding of new sustainable business models, a review of the characteristics of sustainable business and examples of how companies are applying sustainable business to achieve commercial benefits. It includes an overview of new approaches to managing material risk and opportunity, influencing customer behaviour change, creating programmes that engage employees and the importance of collaborating for success. It explores practical methods to help people refresh their own approach.

How is it structured?
All courses include coaching, information and practical exercises to apply learning.
